Custom and Immigration Clearance

We are able to handle all arrivals, departures, harbor master, immigration and custom formalities in swift time to prevent any inconvences during your cruise in Montenegro. Clearing customs can be breeze, but when things do not go in your favor it is time to step back and allow us to do what we do best - to assist you with all Custom and Immigration formalities.

Montenegrin law requires from foreign yachts to have vignette - navigation permit while cruising in Montenegrin national waters. In Montenegro Vignette can be issued for one day, one week, one month, 3 month, 6 month and 12 month.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All boats are obliged to follow the speed limit inside the Bay of Boka: 10 knots, with 6 knots limit in the channels of Kumbor and Verige. Please respect speed limits to avoid penalties which are unavoidable if broken.

Required Documents for issuing Montenegrin Vignette:

Boat's Certificate of Registry (Registration);
Crew & passengers list;
Passports of all crew and passengers;
Insurance for the boat;
Skipper's license;
Notarized power of attorney in English, Italian or French if the skipper is not the boat owner;
Evidence of last port of departure.
Required Documents for yachts that already have Montenegrin vignette:
Existing Montenegro crew list with attached vignette;
Boat's Certificate of Registry (Registration);
Crew & passengers list;
Passports of all crew and passengers;
Evidence of last port of departure.

Arrival procedure

All foreign-flagged yachts should fly the ‘Q’ flag on arrival in Montenegro and display the Montenegrin courtesy flag;
All vessels calling Montenegro ports should give 24hrs notice of ETA to Port Control, Harbor Master’s Office or their Branch Office, Border Police and Custom Office, or their appointed agent;
